About Us
We are a production company doing performance arts. Our theme at this time is the Indian culture. We mixed a little guitar with some chatting, come up with some stories and here we are.... The Misfortunes This story is about two people living a dream. My name is Miss Bobbie Jean Chiasson and my friend is Steven Lawhorn and together we or acting out the parts of Running Bear and His Squaw Misty Waters.
We live as what you see, and this is how it can to be. There was this great Warrior Running Bear and it was His time in this land to watch over his brothers and stand up for them. In it'ss time the Great Buffalo ran free just like the horse were born to be. Then came the Great white man just taking over this beautiful land and turning it into what you see today.
The Indians used the Great Buffalo for food and clothing only killing what they needed and the horse was his friend to take him where he needed to go. But the Great White Man would kill the Buffalo just for the hides and leave the meat on the ground. till they almost were all gone down.
I know that it is sad, but it is true. the Indians did not know what to do. When they tried to fight the Great White man, they two got ran off their land.
I am not sure what has come over me wanting to share this story with you. I just know that when I went to the hospital and realized that I was getting old, that I needed something in my life and this is what I came up with. in two weeks we have written and produced 10 songs with videos and I am loving every thing about myself these days. If I can put but one smile on one child's face, then I want know that I have found my place. .
I will write more each day as we travel on our way. I hope that you get to sit around a real camp fire and listen to the story that your parents tell you. Most of them just may be true. I am going to say bye for now , Running Bear and I. would like to thank all of you for being friends with us two..
